Indoor Succulent Planting Ideas for inspiration!

If like me, you have quickly become a succulent plant addict, then creating beautiful displays is a must try craft.

I had collected several white and off-white pots and decided it was time to create some plant art for my living room window.

Below are my results, I hope they inspire you to give it a try.


The perfect way to start off sedum and succulent cuttings. 




Jade Plant with Sedum cuttings. 
  • Sedum Spurium Tri Colour.
  • Sedum weinbergii ... Graptopetalum paraguayense - Mother of Pearl Plant, Ghost Plant
  • Sedum Palmeri 
  • Sedum-spathulifolium-carnea
  • Sedum rupestre ‘Blue Spruce’ 
  • Live Moss 
  • Cactus Focus Repotting Mix 



A moss covering adds texture and colour, I mist this daily and have never had any issues with rot from the succulents.

Valentine's Day is fast approaching and it doesn't take much time and imagination to come up with a

 Potted plants are so much more suggestive of permanent affection than a bunch of flowers, and on a purely pragmatic level, they give much better value for money. 

 You could choose a houseplant - Jasmine, Stephanotis and Gardenias are fragrant and glamorous, or a passionflower vine, perhaps wound round a support in the shape of a heart, would speak for itself. 
Or how about something which can be planted out in the garden in a few weeks' time? 

 If it has to be red roses - and they are, after all, the classic "I love you" flower - you can't get better than an entire bush of them that promises years of pleasure and passion for years ahead.

 As for Valentine's cards that's another challenge in itself, if you are looking for something unique with a witty twist then look no more as we have found these for you.

The Sweetheart Valentine Hoya.

There are a few Hoya's out there which make ideal houseplants, Hoya Kerrii or the Sweetheart Plant is one of them. Its become increasingly popular in recent years. Their leaves have a heart shape and if you plant one of these leaves into the soil, roots beat life into a new heart plant. #cute

The Chain Of Hearts Plant.

Ceropegia Woodii 'Silver Glory' Plant Trailing Plant - Chain of Hearts.



Ceropegia linearis subsp. woodii is also known as Chain of Hearts or Hearts on a String because the elegant foliage includes heart-shaped leaves. 
Silver Glory leaves are all silver on the top. The colours are more greatly enhanced if the plant is placed in a position where there is plenty of light.
